ACCOMMODATION

We will sleep in 3 – 4 star hotels with private rooms.

The hotel detailed in the final itinerary could change, this will vary depending on availability and the number of people we are, although we will look for a hotel of equal or higher standard in order to maintain the quality of the tour.

TRANSPORTATION

We will adjust to the itinerary with the necessary amenities for the climate and the region. The units will be optimal for transportation between cities and towns always looking for a comfort for you.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (PLEASE READ)

Be willing to SHARE in the broadest sense of the word. Share experiences and moments with new people. Share opinions and visions. Sharing nerves and eagerness before a trip.
Have an open and team mentality (not individualistic) – there will always be a better place in the vehicle, with better visibility, more comfort, for example.
Be flexible to the circumstances of the moment – unforeseen events can happen and although you will organize and plan in the best possible way, sometimes things come up that are out of our reach (The Monkey Experience). So adapting to change is always a good idea.
Encourage a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere 
Be receptive and have a respectful attitude towards the group and towards the population and the country in general. Remember that fortunately (or unfortunately) not everyone thinks as one would like so always respect the thoughts of another person is the peace. Try to listen, understand and respect.

RECOMMENDATIONS

• Despite monitoring the weather in the country on several occasions, the weather can be unpredictable, so the established plan may vary, always ensuring the safety of the group.
• Wear thermal clothing and appropriate footwear
• In group trips, in order to facilitate the functioning of the trip the maximum age is 65 years old.

PHYSICAL CONDITION

A healthy physical condition, which allows you to walk for 6 hours without problems. Part of this activity includes outdoor activities such as hiking or swimming.

ALIMENTATION

Breakfast will generally be taken at the hotel. We promote the idea of eating locally in small businesses that we already know the quality of their products and that allow us to taste the rich Mexican cuisine authentically so we will recommend the best options for lunch or dinner.

In the itinerary it is described if breakfast or lunch is included in the day, in case there is no indication it meas that is not included, we will recommend a restaurant to eat in an optimal place for the itinerary.

-In the package (BAHIDORA) the flights from Europe or America to Mexico City are NOT included.
Once the tour is confirmed, at the time you as a client book the flight you must arrive in Mexico City on Nov 16th and you must leave Mexico City on February 26th.

Once at the airport you will be met by one of our staff with THE MONKEY EXPERIENCE logo. The staff will drive you to your transportation, please contact us by whatapp or email contact@themonkeyexperience.com for any matter regarding your arrival. Transportation from the airport to the hotel and hotel to the airport is included, please send your flight no later than 2 weeks before the beginning of the experience. If you wish to extend your stay at the hotel please let us know and ask the hotel for availability.

-In the package (BAHIDORA PLUS) the flight from Europe to Mexico City, round trip flights are included.
The flights will depart only from Los Angeles, New York, Berlin or London, in the booking part you must specify which is your preferred airport to take your flight to and from Mexico City.
The free baggage allowance is the maximum weight of 23 kg and a size of 158cm (height + width + depth), if you wish to bring more, please check it with the airline before checking in. However, we recommend you to take only one backpack for the trip for more practicality. Flights may or may not be direct to Mexico City, priority will be given to direct flights but there may be 1 or 2 stopovers.
You will receive your flight reservation 1 month before the experience, once you have confirmed your departure with the corresponding payments as stipulated in your reservation.
The itinerary stipulates arrival on February 16th in Mexico City and departure on February 25th from Mexico City, but we recommend that you also consider Feb 15th and Feb 26th as possible flight times depending on the arrival and departure time of flights from Mexico City.
