ITINERARY TRIP 7 DAYS

DAY 1: Arraving

Airport - Puerto Morelos

Arrival & Pick Up

  • Welcome to Mexico. Your adventure will begin in the city of Puerto Morelos. We will meet you upon arrival at the airport and transfer you to the Hotel to settle in. Once there we will meet you at 6 pm for a welcome meeting and dinner

DAY 2 : Cozumel

Puerto Morelos - Cozumel - Coba

The white Beach Experience

We will start our adventure early in the morning. We will take our private transport to Playa del Carmen to make a quick tour and take the ferry which will transport us to the island of Cozumel. Once in Cozumel we will go to white sand beaches which are perfect for snorkeling and for exploring the colorful reefs. Already in the afternoon we will start the return by ferry to Playa del Carmen to take our private transport and go to Coba.

DAY 3: Coba

Coba - Cenotes - Punta Laguna

The first cenotes and hiking with monkeys

In the morning we will head to one of the Mayan ruins, the impressive Coba. This is a large complex of temples, pyramids and ball games’ squares in the middle of the jungle; here we will discover the ancient life of the Maya and we will have the option of biking through the archaeological site.

Just after that we will go to visit the cenote areas near Tulum called “The great cenote”. The cenotes are a network of underground rivers where we will swim in crystal clear waters surrounded by enigmatic caves; this will be the perfect place for refreshing ourselves and heading towards our hiking in Punta Laguna.

Punta Laguna is an ecological reserve dedicated to the protection of monkeys. A perfect walk in the middle of a beautiful jungle that surrounds a lake where will be possible to swim. In this reserve is it possible to find spider monkeys and howler monkeys climbing the trees freely. We will wait until sunset to take our transport and head towards Valladolid.

DAY 4: Valladolid

Valladolid - Cenotes

The colonial town and impresive cenotes

In the early morning we will have a city tour in the colonial city of Valladolid.The city is one of the first cities in Mexico founded by the Spanish which influence is still visible in the forefront’s architecture and it could be taste also in local food. We will try the famous salbutes and the delicious lime soup.

Then, we will visit two of the most famous cenotes of area. These cenotes are underground so we will see different perspectives of these incredible natural wonders. At the end of the afternoon, we will take our transport to Merida.

DAY 5: Merida

Merida - Cuzama -Izamal

Local towns tour

Recently, Merida was declared “American Capital Culture” for the second time. We will have a city tour to explore the colorful Spanish colonial architecture. Merida is now considered one of the most popular cities to live and visit around the world especially because of the quality of life and safety. Then we will go to the town of cuzama where a small cart on a rail pulled by a horse will take us to 3 different cenotes in the area. In the afternoon, we will take our private transport to the town of Izamal

DAY 6: Izamal

Izamal - Holbox

The: “Magic town”

Izamal is known as the «City of the 3 Cultures» and it summarizes the history of the Yucatan peninsula from pre-Columbian times to contemporary Mexico through the colonial period. An ancient Mayan pyramid located in the middle of a colonial town is one of the reasons why it is considered part of the list of magical towns in Mexico. Here we will have a city tour in the morning and an exploration to Holbox in the afternoon.

DAY 7 : Holbox

Holbox

A relax day

Holbox is an island on the north coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. This small fishing island is not yet so turistic and it has a warm and rustic accommodation. The island is 41-km-long with white sandy beaches and it is separated from the mainland by a shallow lagoon which hosts flamingos, pelicans and other incredible birds. Here, we will take the day to rest in this enchanting island and enjoy these paradisiacal beaches.

DAY 8 : Holbox

The final of the trip

Your adventure will come to an end after breakfast this morning. If you would like to spend more time in Holbox, additional accommodations can be previously arranged (subject to availability).

GROUP SIZE

Depending on the reservation you can choose how many people you would like to travel with.
The standard tour is for a maximum of 10 people. It is a small group and easy to manage.
If you require a more personal and direct experience, we have the option of a maximum of 4 people per experience.
You can check the dates specified for each tour in the CALENDAR AND PRICES section. The experiences are already set in the calendar and you can choose the one that suits you best.

ACCOMMODATION

We will sleep in 3 - 4 star hotels with private rooms and bathroom.

The hotel detailed in the itinerary may be changed, this will vary depending on availability and the number of people we are, although we will look for a hotel of equal or higher standard.

TRANSPORTATION

Van with capacity for a maximum of 4 or 10 people (depending on the chosen experience) with driver and guide coordinator, adapted to the weather and road conditions of the country.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS (PLEASE READ)

Be willing to SHARE in the broadest sense of the word. Share experiences and moments with new people. Share opinions and visions. Sharing nerves and eagerness before a trip.
Have an open and team mentality (not individualistic) - there will always be a better place in the vehicle, with better visibility, more comfort, for example.
Be flexible to the circumstances of the moment - unforeseen events can happen and although you will organize and plan in the best possible way, sometimes things come up that are out of our reach (The Monkey Experience). So adapting to change is always a good idea. Encourage a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere 
Be receptive and have a respectful attitude towards the group and towards the population and the country in general. Remember that fortunately (or unfortunately) not everyone thinks as one would like so always respect the thoughts of another person is the peace. Try to listen, understand and respect.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  • In group trips, in order to facilitate the functioning of the trip the maximum age is 65 years old.

PHYSICAL CONDITION

A healthy physical condition, which allows you to walk for 4 hours without problems. Part of this activity includes outdoor activities such as hiking or swimming.

ALIMENTATION

Breakfast will generally be taken at the hotel. We promote the idea of eating locally in small businesses that we already know the quality of their products and that allow us to taste the rich Mexican cuisine authentically so we will recommend the best options for lunch or dinner.

The first and last day of the tour itinerary are designed so that you can arrive or leave at a time that is convenient for you.
The first day will include pick up, hotel night and if specified in the itinerary a dinner.
The last day will include drop off at the airport and check out from the hotel at 12 PM, it is always possible to stay in the lobby or keep your luggage at the hotel until the time that suits you.
